Being in the Washington DC area, it was only natural to develop the business based around the many national associations and institutions located here. As of the year 2003 we have handled shipping for over 1000 national associations in the area and throughout the US.  We offer same-day, overnight, and economy services by air or truck. Your special requirements are pre-planned into the logistics of each particular shipment before the move takes place. ADVANCED FREIGHT EXPRESS services such as time specific pick-up and delivery, door-to-door service, inside pick-ups and deliveries and any other particular requirements you may have. The quality is built into our day-to-day operations. Every shipment is tracked five times a day by our staff! We are proud of our on-time delivery and quality service record since our inception.

Mark L. Travis, founder of ADVANCED FREIGHT EXPRESS , has over 30 years in the distribution and transportation field. He has held various management positions beginning his career with United Parcel Service back in 1974. Since then the other positions he has held have been with William O'Neil Co. (publishers of Investors Business Daily), Computax (Division of Commerce Clearing House), Sky Courier, Forward Air and various consulting positions. With his extensive background, both as a vendor and consumer of freight services, the company has been organized to meet the many and varied demands of today's customers!
